Warranty

What is covered by the warranty?

We offer this warranty to ensure that the new or refurbished product is free from defects and/or malfunctions upon delivery. During the warranty period, we will, at our expense and at our discretion, replace, repair or refund your purchase price if the product is defective, does not function properly or does not operate to technical specifications due to a defect in the manufacture of the product or a defect in one or more product parts (subject to the exclusions and conditions below). During the warranty period, we will cover the cost of domestic and foreign ground shipping for the country to which your new or refurbished product was originally shipped at the time of purchase for the return of your new or refurbished product for repairs submitted through Custom Gaming NL's return process. This warranty does not protect a new or refurbished product that was not purchased directly from us and does not cover shipping or return costs to any country other than the country to which the new or refurbished product was originally shipped when purchased. If you send us a Custom Gaming NL controller through our service, only the parts purchased from us are covered under this Warranty.

Not included:
 

  • Normal "wear and tear" - deterioration and/or defects resulting from normal use, wear and tear or aging.

  • Intentional or negligent damage to the product by the user, such as through misuse, dropping, throwing or otherwise abusing the product.

  • Unreasonable or excessive use of the product, including commercial use.

  • Exposure of the product to liquids, moisture or chemicals.

  • Altering or tampering with the product, including attempts to open, dismantle, modify, alter or self-repair the product.

  • Exposure of the product to extreme temperatures or conditions.

  • Attempting to charge or recharge a Product through an electrical outlet and/or connecting the Product to a defective power cord or a power cord that exceeds the rated tolerance for the Product.

  • Electrical damage from power surges, lightning or other sources outside the Product.

  • Scratches, dents or other cosmetic changes that cause the Product or the appearance of the Product to deviate from its original condition.

How long does the warranty last?

  • For new controllers and/or parts purchased directly from Custom Gaming NL a statutory warranty period of 2 years applies. In order to revoke your warranty you must notify us within this period that you wish to make use of the warranty. You can do this via the contact form on our contact page

  • For used parts purchased directly through Custom Gaming NL there is a warranty period of 1 year. Also for this you need to notify us of your revocation via the contact page.

What if my warranty has expired?

If your warranty has expired you can still send us a message. We will then make you a reasonable offer to repair your controller. We like to use the controllers as long as possible. Please contact us via our contact page.
